Windows XP IE V 6.0.2800.1106 xpsp2.050301-1526

I can no longer use the "ctrl - enter" shortcut to automatically insert
"http://www.(name).com" into the address bar. For example I used to be able
to type say, "cnn", (without the quotes) into the browser hit "ctrl - enter"
and the address bar would automatically display "http://www.cnn.com/". Now
if I do that I get "http:///?%20cnn" Help please, Thanks

See this site for possible help:

Ctrl + Enter no longer adds www and .com
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers_5.htm#append

If that doesn't completely fix things, there's another section of the
registry that may need repair:

IE will not connect to a web page without manually typing http://
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers_8.htm#extension
