Hello Experts:

Up till 2000, Ctrl+down arrow moved you to the next
paragraph. Now in 2002, if you have Outline styles, that
crazy shading thing means you need two clicks to go to the
next paragraph.

Is there a setting that restores the old behavior?

Thanks in advance.

Well, a thought: perhaps a macro to get down there is the
answer, and assign it the keystrokes Ctrl+down. I'll try
that.

What exactly is the purpose of highlighting the number?
What are you supposed to do with it? -- seems a chancy
way to edit things.
