I note that computers are being blamed for more and more of our woes. Now it's plagiarism. LINK

Makes you wonder how many pieces of "new" work have been lifted from elsewhere.

Of course, the link I've used above is a perfect example of plagiarism, straight from the BBC News. We all do it, all the time on PCR.

Naughty Mr Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg!

The Turnitin software mentioned in the article (or something very similar) was used to check all our thesis at University and as far as I know there wasn't anyone caught in our Engineering dept. that year. However, we were warned several times that our text would be checked and that we needed to hand it in using a Word Doc format, as well as a hard copy.
