Ctrl+C is copying a Print Screen?

I'm using XP with Excel 2000 and lately when I've hit Ctrl+C or Ctrl+X
to copy/cut a cell or cells, if I'm pasting within the same page (where
I can see the contents of my old cell I'm copying from), it'll work
fine, but if I scroll down further and try and paste to a cell, it'll
give me a paste of a print screen of what I copied before. What is
going on? Some type of setting in the way its copying items? I don't
want a print screen, I want the contents of the cells I copied.

I use Excel 2002 but if I recall, in Excel 2000 you can put multiple items in
the clipboard so you can cut copy paste with many items at once. Could that
be your problem?

Excel might be clearing out what you pasted in the clipboard after its first
paste too for Excel 2000. Check to see if that is what 2000 does.

Hmmm..possibly. I've been doing some more experimenting and have found
this:

The print screen paste only happens when I press the keyboard after
hitting ctrl+c. For example, I hit ctrl+c on a cell, scroll down one
cell using the arrows, and then hit ctrl+v, I get a screen shot. If I
hit ctrl+c and then use the mouse and select the cell right below it,
it pastes the data as I expect it to do. I'm also getting this same
problem in Outlook, so I suspect its across any MS Office tool that its
happening.
