The left Ctrl button does not seem to be working; however, the right one
does. This just occurred the other day and I only realized it when I
attempted a Ctrl-Alt-Delete to close down an application. Nothing happened.
Rebooted and tried again - still nothing. Then I tried the right Ctrl button
and it worked. I have also tried different sequences - Ctrl + Esc - only the
right Ctrl button works.

I am running Windows XP and the computer is only 2 years old and in perfect
condition, except for the keyboard. Any idea on how to fix it? Could
something be loose under the button?

Thanks,

Try a different keyboard. If this is a laptop, contact the laptop mftr.'s
tech support for replacement.

No, not a laptop. I'll try and borrow a keyboard; however, I'm currently
using a wireless keyboard.
