Ctrl-alt-delete stops working

Got a strange problem here. When one of our users first logs on to his XP Pro machine everything works as advertised. He presses crtl-alt-del and the 'Windows Security' page displays. After a few hours however, if he presses ctrl-alt-del nothing happens. The 'Windows Security' box does not appear. I have verified this by PC Anywhere and sent a remote ctrl-alt-del and nothing happened. No errors are logged in the event viewer.

Anyone got any thoughts on this.
