Ctrl+Alt+Delete calling Task Manager only?!

Hi All,

I dont know if is a problem but if want to logoff my pc using
Ctrl+Alt+Delete buttons, the task manager window will just appear instead of
the Windows Security window. Could you please help me? thanks.

Try "Alt+F4" instead.

The date and time was 5/12/2008 11:53 AM, and on a whim, Bob I pounded
out on the keyboard:

ONLY if the Desktop has focus. Otherwise you'll wind up closing
programs that are forefront.

Logoff is going to close them anyway.

Maybe you haven't used Alt-F4 with a lot of open programs before, but
unless the Desktop has focus, it doesn't log off they way you're
thinking, one at a time.

Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change the way users log on or off -> Uncheck
use the Welcome screen. Hit the Apply Options button. Close User Accounts. Hit
Ctrl + Alt + Del. You should now see the Windows Security dialog.

Keep in mind that you will now have to hit Ctrl + Shift + Esc when you want to
launch Task Manager.

Actually that's EXACTLY why I suggested it, and I use it most of the
time to exit Windows, 98 through XP.
