Ctrl + Alt + Del Not working

      15th Feb 2008
I have windows server 2003 at my office I rebooted it last night. when I
returned this morning the ctrl alt del screen was up. When I pressed the
ctrl alt del keys nothing happened. how can I resolve this issue and get back
on my server?

Have you rebooted it again? Does the keyboard work in the BIOS?

Just so you know, this is a Windows XP newsgroup. You may also want to ask

No Bob, It looks like the keyboad is not working on the bios. I just
installed a new one and still nothing changed.

Is it PS/2 or USB? Motherboard may have suffered port failure. What
connections do you have available?

But the mouse and the keyboard are not connected directly to the server. all
five of my servers are conected to this one box and then the monitor,
keyboard and mouse are connected to it.

Then the points of possible failure increase. Connect one directly to
the server and boot up. If that works then the point of failure is the
cable or the KVM port and not the motherboard port.
