i am trying to run CTFLASHC.EXE and do know know what to enter for prompts
like File type etc.
i need some direction.
could find anything at the any of the drivers forums.

thanks for help, but i don't see how this link can help.
my problem is the optical mouse is jumping around sometimes and the NVIDIA
video driver gets lost when i leave my machine off for a while.
what are you suggesting?

CTFlashc is not a native XP program. This appears to be a method of
updating the BIOS of some type of motherboard. This is not to be done
without following the exact directions from the manufacturer.

it appears to be a BIOS flasher.
i need the .bin file i guess.
i found a company that makes custom BIOS for $69 bucks, but i've never had
to do this before.
i always managed to find free BIOS upgrades.

Never use third party BIOS. Always check with the manufacturer of the
motherboard/PC first.
