hi, i have a AMD motherboard, with Hercules sound rack,
whenever i go to windows updates and install the
recommended new drivers, after re-booting the computer,
it does not find or recognise the sound rack, usually i
have to unplug my internet conection, then uninsatll the
sound rack software, then re-boot again and finally re
install the sound rack, after all that it works ok untill
the next time.
well, thanks to the last driver update on the 30 june
2004, now when this happen, the sound rack is still not
recognised by the computer, then once again I have to
uninsall the older version then re-boot and once again
insatll it from fresh, only this time when i have
rebooted to insatll the newer driver, all it want to do
is uninsatll it????it gives me no chance to reinsatll the
software for the sound rack.

Don't install drivers from WinUpdate! They're about always out of date
Nevest drivers are to be found on manufacturer's homepage

AMD motherboard???????? Check again..
