Crystal reports print incorrect characters

When I print a Crystal report using a TrueType font,
portions of my printouts are garbled. Has anyone else seen
this? Do you have a solution?

The problem appears on printed output from Crystal when a
TrueType font is used. Incorrect characters print. E.g.,
instead of the text "Item" printing, the text ",WHP"
prints. Only certain kinds of objects in the report show
this problem -- e.g., text objects and field headings are
scrambled, but not data fields or formulas.

The problem appears to be newly introduced with the
version of the "HP LaserJet 8100 Series PS" drivers
included in Windows XP Service Pack 1.

If I move back to the prior version of the drivers, the
problem goes away.

I would be interested in knowing if anyone else has
encountered this -- and what solutions you have found (if
any) other than using an older version of the driver.
