Hi, I have a laptop (Compaq 1516US) with Windows XP. I use
to connect my laptop with my office PC using crros-over
cable and copy data from it. Now, the cable is not
identified by my laptop and it's always saya that "LAN is
unplugged" even if I connect the cable with my PC. But the
same is working properly with other laptop and PCs. I did
verify if the LAN port is working properly. I am able to
access internet using DSL connection on the same port but
the problem is that it doesn't identify the cross-over
cable. I did install XP service pack 1a. Anybody know the
reasons for not working suddenly?
