Hi, I recently had a crosslink error on one of my drives. When the problem
occured I ran chkdsk on that drive. a lot of files were crosslinked. I was
unable to access the HDD shortly after. I used a file recovery application
to recover all the crosslinked files to another drive. At this point in time
i reinstalled my OS.

Once recovered, most of the files were inaccessible causing error or garbage
to appear: word docs, pdf's and executables etc. However I noticed that when
i download those very files across my LAN to another computer the files were
OK! Ive noticed odd behaviour on the original computer. Some of the files
are begining to work again, but not all. Does anyone know what is going on
here? How do I get all my files to work again?

Thanks!
Hz
