Crosslink e-mail, calendar, contacts in v. 2011?

I use to have Outlook 1997. You could make hyperlinks between e-mails,
calendar items, and contacts -- and even other files on the computer,
IIRC. (Don't remember if it was drag-and-drop; that would be great!)

I just got Outlook 2011 for Mac and don't see any way to do this. Has
this functionality been lost? Is there any third-party software that
restores it?

If not, does anyone know of any other all-in-one (e-mail, calendar,
contacts) software that does this?

Thanks.

OK, done. But may I ask, what is *this* ng for and why is the question
not appropriate here?

This is for Windows. Plus, MS has discontinued the NNTP newsgroups and
moved to web based forums, and most of the experts/users don't hang out
here anymore.

Hmm. OK. Not obvious from the name (m.p.o.GENERAL). But I see that
there is also .m.p.o.mac. Which ...

.... as you suggest, doesn't have much traffic!
