Well I'm searching for a cross-stich application.
One that will convert a picture to a pattern.
And of course: Freeware ;-)


MightyKitten (Who will take up making bobbin lace next ;-) )

I just found that one, it will fit my (well, my mothers) needs. Thanks, and

This is the one I use. Start small so that you may
see the adjustments on the print pattern that may
be needed.

Other considerations you may want to compare...

From the program information...
Includes photo import feature.
Fine tuning yields a workable printed pattern from
any picture, thread (with numbers 4-64 colors.)
Symbol/Color alterations possible with thread number
reference provided on final print for palette. (DMC,
Anchor, SEMCO, Madeira, J&P)

You might like to try this Japanese designed proggie... I have the japanese
version and it looks really good... author has told me that there will be an
English version released next month
