My host does not have a secure server (https and I really like working with
them. My client would like to accept credit card charges on the site. Does
anyone know of a third party vendor that provides this kind of service. In
other words, the visitor could select a product they wish to charge, and then
be taken to the third party site to pay. Thanks

Google *credit card processing*, you will get many of hits. PayPal can do
this on their own secure servers as well.

Try PayPal....they are independent and guarantee security of CC processing.

They have various ecommerce tools that can blend with your site design such as
shopping cart, etc - there are also thirdparty shopping cart scripts that work
with PayPal (for various platforms and in various languages - javascript, php,
perl, asp, asp.net and so on using anything from flat-text file database to
access and mysql.)
