Hi all,

I have Active Directory on a Win2K server. After
reformating the machine, one workstation in the network
cannot access the domain due to a "credentials supplied
conflict w/ an existing set of credentials" conflict. I
tried the soltion based on the knowledge base article
197987. Is there anything else I can try?

Melanie

Move the workstation to a Workgroup, then rejoin it back to the domain.

This can happen when you have an existing connection
to some share while trying to register the machine on the
domain. Disconnect all shares before attempting to join
it to the domain.

to see all the connections open a command prompt and type "net use"
then you can delete them by typing:
net use <name of share> /delete
