I have just purchased from Ebyer a Creative Labs Inspire T7900 7.1 Speakers System - I have connected everything up and booted up the computer.

The computer boots normally but I hear no sounds whatsoever.

My motherboard is a K8N Neo4-f which can handle up to 7.1 systems.

Can anyone help me please?

Right Click on My Computer> Hardware> Device Manager> And expand Sound, Video & Games Controller?
What appears?
Have you made sure everything is connected & sound is on?

ok you will need to go into control panel>sound and audio devices>audio>make sure the device in the scroll down box is realtek ac97 audio. If it isnt change it to that and then hit apply and then go into control pannel>sound and audio devices>advanced>set it up for 7.1 surround speaker system

hope that helps
