perhaps a silly question

starting with a legitimate copy of XP Pro SR-1 on CD-ROM

it's a "Corporate Licence" - so no problems with
the "Microsoft Activation" process,
and sufficient copies paid for to equip the entire company...

but...

by combining the files on this CD-ROM
with the downloads from Windows Update -

is it possible to produce an installation disk
that contains all of the latest patches and updates
so that XP Pro will be in its current latest form -
right at installation time ???

Have a look at the DUPrepare & DUShare

which allows for applying all updates during installation.

hope that helps

Might want to spend more time searching the web than coming up with the
question. =)
