Hello Group,

My boss has requested that I set up a private calendar for
him in Outlook. The problem is that his current calendar
is a public file for everyone on the network. He wants to
create a seperate one for his own personal use. I have
copied the original email he sent.

"Can you tell me how I would go about setting up a second
calendar in outlook. This would be a personal calendar
that wound not need to be accessable to the other staff.
this has nothing to do with office. Just our personal
calendar... time busy etc doesn't really apply... kids
appointments, birthdays, etc etc. really just using
outlook as a personal calendar. So it may be possible to
have two calendars, totally unrelated.. just with
different names."

Any Help would be great.

Thanks.

BEN

hey there.. this is actually easier then it may sound.
here's how you go about it:

1) select File->Folder->New Folder
2) give it a name in the 'name' field
3) in the 'folder contains' field, use the dropdown list
to select 'Calendar Items'
4) make sure that the main mailbox for your boss is
selected in the 'where to place the folder' section
5) click 'ok'

there ya go. that will create a new calander with the
specified name. hope this helps.
