I'm trying to create a new signature but when I click the advanced edit
button, a notepad document opens. How do I change this so a word document
opens?

You could always try opening word. Creating the signature. Then copy and
past that into the signature field inside Outlook. Might be a good enough
work around for you. What version of Outlook are you using?

Mine works fine but my co-workers does not. We both have the 2003 version.
I'm trying to insert a business card and it looks like I can only do that in
word. Any thoughts are appreciated.

You can use Insert>Item in the email and then select the contact you want to
attach and a V card will be attached. No need for Word.
