I want to setup a personal messaging system on my web site, but can’t find a
way to do this using Front Page 2003? I am an apprentice web master and do
not know how to write complex scripts. Is there a way to create a personal
messaging system for our web community using MSFP03? My server runs front
page extensions.

Thanks in advance for your time,

-Wildman

Do you mean a discussion forum, or similar sort of thing? Frontpage has a
discusion forum --- you can create it from File > new > web and go to the
"template"options, I think. It is rather basic so it doesn't have a log on
routine or user registration system.

But there's plenty of discussion forum scripts around, such as
www.yabb-forum.com and www.phpbb.com

If the above are not what you're after, can you elaborate please?

Otherwise you might be better of with something like the yahoo discussion
groups or something similar ?.

This would otherwise be a rather complicated kind of thing to set up from
scratch without programming knowledge, and also depends on what scripting
language your host supports and what scripts they would allow to run on
their server.

No, FrontPage does not have this capability.
