Hi,

Everything I read says not to use the Admin privileges when doing day to day
stuff. So I'm a bit late on this and I have set up all my programmes
already, Outlook, Outlook Express and IE etc with my favorites and accounts
in the admin privileges user. Now I want to create a new user with limited
privileges that has access to all the programmes and accounts already
created, to do stuff like send and receive email, create contacts and stuff
like that. Is there any way that I can do this, or do I have to go through
and set it all up again.

Thanks
Shaun

Many newer programs were designed to work in a multi-user environment
however, since your applications were installed prior to creating a new
user, you may have to check their options to see if you can give access to
another user.

Most older applications weren't designed for this type of multi-user
environment.
Such applications need to be installed in each specific user's account to
whom you wish to grant access.

First, be sure the account to which you wish to grant access is set to
administrator and not limited. Install the applications to the same folder
in which it was originally installed. This will look the same as one
install on your hard drive but create the pointers necessary for this user
to have access to the application.

Once the installation is complete, you can return the account to its limited
status if that is what you want and the user should still have access.
