Creating a new calendar to share between users.

My supervisor and I have a need to create a new calendar
where we will track employee leave. It seems much easier
and better than the system we have now with is
cumbersome. By using Outlook's calendar features, we feel
this would be a great system. Currently, however, it
seems that it might be something we need our IT people to
do as neither of us can figure out how to set up an
auxiliary calendar separate from our own individual ones -
we have appointments coming in and we don't want them on
the leave reports we print out so a separate calendar that
we can share is the best.

I realize that sharing properties is something our IT
people will probably have to do but can we ourselves set
up a separate calendar?

I also would like to know this to do the same at home for
other reasons. Since I use the corporate setup at home,
if this is possible, at least I'm set up correctly I
believe for this type of thing.

questions so that the issue is understood. I've tried to
explain the situation as best I can but I don't know the
pertinent terminology that might be involved.
