So hopefully this makes sense.
I'm working with a new database that lists the weekly awards my company
gives out, and there are a few fields which will duplicate during the season
(name and job department). Those fields which will not duplicate even if the
name/dept is the same are the weeks in which the award was given and another
numerical value.
In playing with creating the database, I've figured out how to allow
duplicates of the primary key and use the query tool to find the duplicates
based on the two fields noted above.
What I would like to do ultimately is to assign a color to the duplicate
fields (anything in those first two fields which is the same AFTER the first
entry-the "first" entry will be based on the date received), but keep the
entries in the same order.
Is there a way I can set this up using a macro? If so, any advice on how to
word/list the macro setup would be perfect. Ideally, I'd like to build the
query into the same table I am working with (instead of having a new one open
up) so if that can be done as well I would greatly appreciate it.
