I was wondering if anyone knows of software that could use
an existing website to generate a mirror image site for
low speed connection users. I have published site which is
quite large so going through it and converting the pages
to remove the images would be time consuming to say the
least. Does FrontPage offer anything similar to this?
Thanks

No. Have you optimized and saved your images at the actual sizes being used
in the web?

No. Instead, this is probably the time to analyze and tune
the most often-accessed pages, and to simplify any content
you replicate via Shared Borders, Include Page, and so
forth.

If you do end up reworking your site, resolve this time to
use linked Style Sheets, Include Page components, and
other features that will make it easy to rework your site
the next time, and the time after that, and the time after
that...

there is an add-in in the FrontPage add in center that will convert a fp
html web into something usable for WAP. you may want to look into that.

You could just publish to a sub web and then delete all the images.

No file updates required!
