I want to make an ongoing list of the maint. I've performed on my vehicles.
is there a template available ? needs to include date, parts, milage etc.

Microsoft has one set up for 5000 mile intervals, but you could use it as the
basis for something more customized:

Do a web search for a phrase such as
vehicle maintenance Excel template
and you'll get the same pile of hits that I did - I didn't look at all of
them, one of the others may be spot-on to fill your need.

Of course you could make your own:
Column Titles: Date Mileage Work Performed
then entries in those columns as appropriate.
