For solving a problem regarding (i.e., replacing) a corrupted profile
(e.g., see
http://groups.google.ca/group/micros...7d8259a6?hl=en
....)
it has been suggested I transfer to a new profile (i.e., see
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811151/en-us ...)

One problem I see with this approach is maintaining ownership of many
of my files that would be located in a directory, other than "my
documents" ... e.g., 'c:\share\dir_name\'.

The other aspect of the new profile I'd need recreate is special
permissions that I may have associated with many directories because,
while I manage this multiple-user computer via admin, I monitor its
use via this corrupted account.

It is because of these doubts that I would surely love to know/remedy
the corrupted profile (see previous thread).

TIA & cheerios )
