I am not sure how to do this but, I want to create one
calendar that only a specified group of users can add to,
edit, and modify. I want this calendar to come up as the
default calendar when those individuals open outlook. I
also want them to have access to their own personal
outlook calendar. I hope that is a good enough
description of what I need....

We have Exchange server. That department includes 10
people. We all have the latest version of outlook. And
we are running WIN XP Pro/Small Business... I hope all
of that helps.

Hello Meg,

you can add a Public Calendar in the Public Folders.
With different user rights you can give a a specified group different
rights. Have a look on this site for more informations:
http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/scheduleall.htm

Maybe Outlook Team Calendar on the slipstick site could be a good solution.

You will not get a remind from this Public Calendar, this is only possible
in the Standard Folders.
For a remind you will need "Extended Reminders" from Ken Slovak:
