I made a post in the vb forums for help with creating an excel file that
points to a .cub in the SAME directory the excel file is in without
specifying where the directory is.

http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...iteID=1&mode=1

The moderator there suggested I may get some more specific help from the
users here so here I am

Essentially I want to create a .xls file that has a pivot table already in
it pointing at a .cub file in the same directory. I want to create this .xls
file locally on my server in some temp directory, C:\tempexcelfiles. Then
zip up the .xls and .cub file and send that to the end user. The end user
then extracts the file into ANY of their directories (it shouldn't have to be
named tempexcelfiles) and have the .xls file works without any other input
from them. So I need to somehow tell excel that the .cub file is in the SAME
directory the .xls file is in but not specify a specific path.

Is this possible?
