hi guys first of all apologies for the cross post not sure which best to post
in so best to do this, if not for you please ignore and accept my apologies.

Is there an online tutorial on how to set up a network domain? I have just
bought myself a server and have 2 other pcs one a laptop, and have microsoft
small business server 2000. I have a hub and all cables needed, and will use
the server as a router. I am having problems in setting my internet up with
blue yonder, seems to recognise it but not be able to use it, just keeps
going back to recognise the modem page.
Anyway i diverse, basically am happy to start all over and reformat if
anyone knows an online tutorial to get me going I would appreciate any help,
thanks in advance
phil

Hi - this is not a crosspost. You've posted this as an individual message -
and I presume what you mean is that you posted it also to other groups,
individually. That's called "multiposting" and is frowned upon by most
people as many subscribe to multiple groups, and it's frustrating to run
into the same post in other groups, and see that others have also made the
effort to reply. Save everyone, including yourself, a lot of work, by
crossposting, not multiposting - post a single message to multiple groups at
the same time by separating the group names with commas or whatever your
newsreader/client supports. That way everyone can follow the thread.

SBS does a lot of things differently, so I suggest you post this in
microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000 and m.p.windows.server.sbs
(crosspost!) for help. SBS has wizards for a lot of things. I also suggest
you pick up some books on the topic to make sure you really do this
correctly.

Well, if you keep calling me Lawrence I'll ignore you. :-)

The SBS folks will likely have some good suggestions for SBS-specific
books.....
