How do I create a shortcut on my desktop to go to an installed program.

open up my computer
and find the folder where
that program resides.

inside it there will likely
be a file with an extension
of .exe

then right click on it and
you will have the options
to "send to" desktop.

go the the .exe file and right click and go to create shortcut. then
drag the shortcut to your desktop

or

3. (what I usually do) Right drag the exe file to the desktop. When
you release the mouse button, choose "Create shortcut here."
