I am hoping someone can help me. I am using microsoft excel 2007, windows vista.

I want to create a column, which is the result of two other columns:

I want : c1=a1-b1
c2=a2-b2
c3=a3-b3
c4=a4-b4
.
.
.
.
and so on.

I do NOT want the sum of all the b and a cells in one c cell. I apologize if this has been asked before, but I could not find in by searching.

Thank you for any help

Hi Dan

Welcome to the forum..

In Cell C1 type "=A1-B1" without quotations, then just drag down for how ever many cells you like.
