I can't see the previous posts in this thread, so I am unclear as to how
your data is set out.
But, assuming as per Herbert's example you date a date field and a Value
field, drag date to the Row Area and Value to the Data area.
Right click on any date>Group and Outline>Group>Days>7
Now drag Value to the Data area a second time>Double click the field
name>Show data as>% Difference from>Date>Previous
