I am using Visual Studio 2005

If I go to:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...alkthrough.asp

It says:
To create an ASP.NET Web Service project

On the File menu, point to New, then click Project to display the New
Project dialog box.
Depending on what language you want to use, select Visual Basic Projects or
Visual C# Projects in the Project Types pane, and then select ASP.NET Web
Service in the Templates pane.

If I go to the C# Projects, there is no 'ASP.NET Web Service template. Is
this something I have to download? I have searched for templates related to
this but cannot find it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re run the Visual Studio setup .. a customize screen will come up, then
select the Template chkbox in C# Section, and i think this will resolve the
issue

Unfortunately that didn't work. Actually MS can't even supply an accurate url
to this post when they tell me I have a response, so I guess I shouldn't be
surprised that their product won't install correctly.

After the 're-run' of setup, my templates folders are still completely
empty; nada, zip, zilch.
