I am searching for a way for BCM to automatically create and update email
distribution lists for Accounts. As Business Contacts are added or removed
from Accounts, can a dynamic email distribution list be created? Or do I
manually have to add and delet email addresses to a separate email
distribution list in Outlook? Can it be done by creating Categories? Any
help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to find a way to update my
Contacts once without having to do two separate entries (in BCM and Outlook)!

AnnaJ:

You should be able to create a distribution list in Outlook contacts that
only use BCM Accounts or Contacts. I don't know of a way to designate
"contacts belonging to an account", unfortunately, but you can create the
list of BCM contacts OR accounts. The list has to live in your Outlook
Contacts folder, not BCM Accounts or BCM Contacts, but it can contain only
BCM entries.

Another way to accomplish your email list is to use Search Folders. Create
some data in a BCM contact or account record (or create a new field to use
for this) and enter the data you want to search on. Then, using a Search
Folder, you can create the conditions/criteria to select someone for
inclusion in that filter. In this way, if you change the value in the data
field, it automatically adds/drops them from the group.

HTH,
Lon

Yes, Outlook has the same Search Folders at the bottom of the tree in the
left navigation bar.
