How can I return with access programming the following
information of an access file:

1). The created date and time.

2). The user that created it.

Thank you for your help,

Steven

There's more than one way to interpret your request...

Are you asking to note the create date/time/user of the entire Access MDB
file? If so, check on properties.

Are you asking to be able to show who changed a record and when in a table
within an Access MDB file? If so, you'll need to add these fields to your
table(s) and add code to your forms to write this information.

Good luck

That was not much help. If you dont know the answer please
do not put anything. People will bypass if there is a
response and you answered nothing.

The original post was ambiguous. My response offered two approaches and
left the door open for further clarification. If you judged that to be
non-responsive, my apologies.

Hey, please lighten up.

The original question was vague and Jeff's response was absolutely valid. Seemingly simple questions do not always have simple answers.

If you know the answers to Steven's questions, why don't you answer them yourself? If you don't know, how can you evaluate Jeff's response?

If Steven didn't get everything he needed from Jeff's feedback, he can ask a follow-up and include more detail about what he's looking for.
