Hi guys, I'm new and I'm looking for some help if possible..

I have a problem adding an intel netowork driver, I open the component
designer, I import the inf file I found in the drivers package, I
delete the devices I dont need (it's a very long unified drivers
list), I create the repository adding the driver files, I create the
package and I save everything. I close all the application, I open the
component database manager and I import the sld file.

Now, I can see the componet under the repository tab, in the package
tab the package doesnt contains anything and when I run TD I cannot
find it in the list of avaialble components.

I'm really stucked. If you might have an idea I really would like to
have a feedback.

Thanks a lot in advance for your time.

Best,

nettie

Take a look at this tip article to make sure that you have correctly
componentized your driver.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/emb...thirdparty.asp

Also make sure that in Component Designer you add a Group Membership in your
component to the package you created

Hope this helps,

Lynda

If you right-click on the component in component designer,
are 'set to latest revision' or 'update component' listed?
If they are, click on them. That should sort you out.

*G* Linda's my surname, for which you can blame Canada.
Glad that helped you, anyway.
