I am new to using virtual machine and want to run VirtualBox on my
workstation. It requires a Windows XP system image. How do I create an
image of my workstation?

Your use 3rd party imaging software such as Acronis, and just so your aware,
it is a violation of your license agreement to image the install on your
computer and run it in a VM, you need a separate license for the virtual
machine.
Also Virtualbox does not require a system image, you can install the OS
clean from standard installation media.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know about the licensing issue; I'll have to
check into that. I'm assuming that I could run an alternate OS like Linux,
so I might go that route -- not quite as expensive.
