Hi,
I've reformatted my system and all is fine.
After installing XP Home, applications and drivers I installed Xpress
Recovery 2 from the gigabyte chipset disk. I then tried to back-up my
system using XR2 which notified me of insufficient HD space.
I've since learnt that I must have appx 4gb of unallocated space to use XR2.
How can I release 4gb from my system HD to unallocated space or should have
this been done when creating my C: partition.

M

yes, you should have set your drive up that way when you installed XP

now you'd need a 3rd party utility such as partition magic.

However you may want to just add another drive
as your backup would be no good anyway, if your drive failed
