I can't think of another way to describe it. I know how to insert a form text
box and a text box. What I want to create, is a textbox like the ones
Microsoft has on it's templates.

Example: There's says "Type your name", you click there, start typing then
all of their information disappears (including the textbox) and only
formatted text remains. Leaving no indication their was a field there before.

How do you do that?

One way is described at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFm...croButton.htm; note that this
will work in all versions of Word, content controls only in Word 2007 and
above.
