WinXP/MS Office 2007
I must be exceptionally dense today.
I would like to create a task to call a contact in few days and have
it shown on the To-Do Bar. The resulting form should contain the phone
number, so when I am reminded to do it I will not have to search for
the number.
I thought there was a way by dragging the Contact to the To-Do Bar,
but that did not work.
What is the "right" way to do it?
Thank you.

Right-click and drag the contact to the Tasks button on the Navigation Pane
instead. The Tasks section will open and you can drop the contact item onto
any Task folder listed. Outlook will give you several options for creating
the new task based on the contact information, and a new task window will
open. Once you save the task it will appear on your To-Do Bar when it should.
