create a rule for a specific attachment

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to create a rule that would identify
messages that have a specifically named attachment (for example,
"08party.pdf"). I want to create an auto response for those messages (I know
how to do the auto response part, just not the file name part). I'm hoping to
be able to do this on two computers, one running Outlook 2003 and the other
running Outlook 2007.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

if the attachment is not embedded in the message, it should be listed in the
header - so create a rule that looks for words in the header, with the word
being the file name.

Thanks for replying so quickly, Diane. I set up the rule like you suggested
and then tried sending a message from AOL and Outlook with an attachment to
test it, but the name of the attachment doesn't appear in the header of
either.

Any other ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!
