Create a rule to move an email after I reply to or forward it

Essentially, I want to be able to create a rule which will move emails from
my Outlook 2007 Inbox to a "dealt with" folder when I reply to them or
forward them to someone else.
This can be the same folder for all items, I just want to get them out of my
inbox at this point.
I don't want to move them to a folder on receipt - I need to keep them in
the inbox so I get them on my mobile device(s). I only want them to go when I
respond to them.
I have had a look but can't find a way to identify the status of the email
(the metadata which controls the icon shown) or the additional data added to
the headers ("you replied to this email on...").
Rules on the sent item don't seem to help as they apply to the reply or
forward, not to the original email they were created from.

(this is Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2003 at the moment)

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Not possible unless you run rules manually or use a 3rd party tool such as;

Thanks, that seemed to be the case based on my fruitless searching.

I'll take a look at AutoMate which had also been linked elsewhere, but $40
for the standard edition seemed a bit steep for something which sounds so
easy to achieve.
That said, it sounds like it will also work to clear out things I reply to
from my mobile device, when I next run Outlook.

Thanks again
