Please, Please, Please can someone please tell me how to create a photo
gallery slide show in FP2003 without getting errors. I've been trying for
three days - still getting oject expected error or invalid character

First create a folder in your web for the slide show.
Then import all of the images fro the slide show into the folder.
Then with the folder open in FP click File > New.
Then in the right hand side bar click More page templates.
Then in the General tab select Photo Gallery.
Create the gallery in the folder..

I would use jAlbum or another method - the FrontPage slide show, even
when working, will fail in FireFox.
