How to create .PDF files dynamically

Hello --

I am looking for a way to dynamically generate PDF documents - combining
Crystal Reports and data driven "fields".

For example, I have a template that's essentially a summary document and I
would like to populate certain fields with client names and account data.

Also, I would like to make a "master" PDF that contains all the PDF
summaries in one document -- and use bookmarks if possible.

Can this be done, and are there any examples?

Any advice, tips, and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

Check out iTextSharp

http://itextsharp.sourceforge.net/

Its written for C# but it'll also work in vb.net

Thanks for the reply - this looks like something I'll be able to use at some
point. For my purposes now though, I want to know if's appropriate if i
need to create potentially thousands of PDFs in "batches" (not necessarily
one at a time from a web site)....and can it be integrated with Crystal
templates?

Thanks again.

I am currently generating several thousand reports in pdf format every week.
I print the report using acrobat distiller and then concatenate them using a
program called pdcat ( http://www.pdf-tools.com/en/products_pdcat.html. I
don't see why it wouldn't work with crystal reports.
