I have a 60MB hard drive as my master (boot) hard drive with Windows XP
loaded on it. I have about 12MB of the 60MB used up.

I want to create a partiton, one 20MB and anothe 40MB. Can I do this in
WinXP. The file system is NTFS.

Do you mean GB instead of MB?
In any case, you can not modify the partition the OS resides and
preserve data.
You need a 3rd party application:

An easier way to read newsgroup messages:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p...oups/setup.asp
