Hello I want to control the way sites are saved. My
question is can a person control the name FP gives a site
when created I think it's a pain when each time I create a
site it has to give it a mysite with a number that
continues to become greater in sequence. All help is
greatly appreciated.

P.S. I may be worng on the name but I think you know what
I mean. Dbarselow

Just create a folder, named with no spaces on your HD, then open the folder in FP, and let FP make
it a web.

FP will default to the last site and increment it. You can name a new site anything you wish. Just delete the portion that displays the default name in the dialog box and enter your heart's desire

That is not the solution for web names and locations
And saving pages outside of your currently open web/site will break the links when you publish

See detailed response in your similar post in the extensions.windowsnt newsgroup
