Create new record but do not allow update of old records

Hi,
I have a table displayed in a form.
How can I let the user insert new records but not allowingthem to uodate
already existing records,

Why not use the form's data properties (data tab).

Set the 'Allow Edits' property to False, while ensure that the 'Allow
Additions' is set to True
