I have a whole load of objects, such as lenses, mirrors, etc, which I
have taken time to draw and wish to have them permanently available to
me to copy and paste into new diagrams within reports.

Is this possible, as I am getting bored of doing to same drawing time
and time again?

Thanks
ALex

You could save each drawing as an AutoText entry.
